Starting in late December and ongoing in 2026, I’ll share weekly color studies from my sketchbook every Monday. A sketchbook is a wonderful place to explore color and shapes. Sometimes I’ll post additional paintings as I explore different concepts and color palettes.

The paintings are quick and take less than 10 minutes to paint. They represent an opportunity to explore without too much pressure and is a window into my studio practice and creative process. Some of the color studies translate into abstracts or other creative projects.
